Silver

A few pieces are the Lost Wax technique. I make a design out of wax, it's put in a can with a plaster mold, hardened. Then pellets of sterling are melted with a settling torch & poured into the can to shape the piece. After I cut the 3 prongs off with a saw, start filing until it looks nice, it's put in a pickle solution. Then I polish it with a Dremel tool with a soft leather buff pad. The other sterling is cut, shaped around a stone, then a smaller piece is shaped on top of it & solder down. I press the edges so it's smooth & tight to the rock. I polish with a buffing wheel again to make it look shiny.
