About Nancy Ware

Nancy has traveled extensively. She enjoys the outdoors and tries to make her experiences come to life with her artwork. She loves the water and enjoys seeing fish in their natural habitat. A trip to Japan and exhibiting there was a wonderful experience. She thanks God for her talent.

I’ve painted for 25 years and have received many ribbons and had a painting accepted in the Manhattan Art magazine. I went to Japan 13 years ago on a Sister City exchange with Tokushima. Teacher Utako Shima had me teach an art class on T.V. to her children’s class. There were six of us that exhibited in 2 galleries while we were there. In the last five years I’ve been doing fused Dichroic glass, fired at 1700 degrees. I am working with pewter, making molds, designs and pouring hot pewter. I also have been doing some lost was casting in Sterling.
